Having an electrical background enables us to do all our own electrical work. Some electricians will let the owner do some of the rough work and sign off after they have tested and inspected the work. You can run conduit I am sure.
Please do not mess with it if you are not qualified. Been known to kill many people. I kid you not.
We tapped off from the main incoming supply. Trench to the incoming supply at about 1 o’clock on the photo. A 100 amp. supply will be sufficient. (We are talking 110v supply, take note). We will be using a propane gas cooker and electrical Infrared/Halogen/Convection top cooker for a stove. These are very energy efficient. Wood burning stove for space heating (code calls for space heating and permits wood burning stove heaters!), and water heating from the stack. Two alternative sources of water heating besides electricity. (Instant water heaters require quite a large current supply, but will be used with pre-heated water. See later.) Fans and some outlets and lighting circuits.
Grey conduit is power. Don’t forget to run conduit to the future domes.
The black insulated pipe is the hot water line.
